Widening its spectrum through the selection of activities based on knowledge and market demands, starting in 1939 with its first products (the capsules against liver fluke in sheep and cattle and the phosphine paste),
pharmaceutical production reached the assortment of 80 products of different pharmaceutical types: powders, solutions, ointments, tablets and injectors. These pharmaceutical types are divided into 14 pharmacological groups: antibiotics, sulphonamides and other chemotherapeutics, cures for mastitis, antiparasitics, digestives, probiotics, expectorants, vitamins and minerals, electrolytes, dermatics, disinfectives, insecticides and rodenticides. Through the use of old tested receptures and the application of high-quality substances, the ointment-type products (Ichthyol-Camphor Ointment, Flogocide, Zinc-Vitamin Ointment) and Burov tablets became accepted and familiar throughout Serbia and Montenegro, and former Yugoslavia.
